About the Baby Moses Hotline

The Baby Moses Hotline is a 24-hour statewide hotline to support families and provide safe alternatives to prevent infant abandonment. Our hotline is run by staff and volunteers trained to listen and provide information without judgement. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

The Baby Moses Hotline is named after the Texas Safe Haven / Baby Moses Law, that states an infant may be safely surrendered to a Safe Haven Location as long as they are under 60 days old and unharmed. The hotline is funded by the state to prevent infant abandonment and potential deaths of infants, there is no religious affiliation to our organization.
